Description

During the 2004-2005 period, the Pokémon Professor Program was an essential part of the competitive scene, aimed at creating a network of certified judges and organizers for tournaments. These Professors were responsible for overseeing the fair play of tournaments, helping with event organization, and ensuring the proper application of the rules in both Pokémon TCG and video game competitions.

While the program during this time was not as elaborate or digitally supported as it is today, it helped establish the foundation for the structured and well-organized Pokémon competitive environment we have now. Those who participated could earn Professor status and access to exclusive benefits such as early information on tournaments and sometimes even special promotional items.
